The 1st<\/sup>\u00a0Circle focuses on\u00a0physical and vocal training<\/i>\u00a0and on\u00a0character research <\/i>and it introduces the basic\u00a0tools of actor\u2019s dramaturgy<\/i>\u00a0as well as\u00a0principles of solo and group creation<\/i>. It is divided into 3 BLOCKS:<\/p>\n

PHYSICAL TRAINING \u2013 RESEARCH ON THEATRE CHARACTER<\/b><\/p>\n

The class is divided in two parts. On the first part, we work the physical awareness and body-mind connection, elaborating principles of actor\u2019s presence through breathing, rhythm, balance, body-space and group-relation exercises. The second part is concentrated on the physical research of a theatre character: connection with the time, space, will and conflict of the character and how is manifested through the body.<\/p>\n

VOCAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING<\/b><\/p>\n

The class elaborates different ways of using the voice both as an instrument for actor\u2019s work and as an inspiration for theatre research and creation. On the one hand, we focus on the dramaturgy of the voice, through the precision of vocal actions. On the other hand, we work on rhythm and vocal dynamics, using traditional Balkan, South European and South American songs, as well as group songs of African origin.<\/p>\n

GROUP CREATION \u2013 THEATRE MONTAGE<\/b><\/p>\n

The class deals with the passage from physical training to scenic presence, from actor\u2019s dramaturgy to partner work. It aspires to montage together the physical and vocal materials of the participants into one group creation \/ performance which will be presented in the end of the 1st<\/sup> Circle in a no conventional space.<\/p>\n
