PHYSICAL DRAMATURGY & ORGANICITY IN THE WORK OF THE ACTOR\"IMG_1199\"<\/a><\/strong>THEATRE WORKSHOP WITH LEONEL HENCKES & CHRISTINA KYRIAZIDI<\/p>\n

The workshop offers an intensive frame of acting research in the areas of: intention, impulse and contact of action, qualities of movement, body and space relation, rhythm and break of rhythm, materials and resistance of movement, physical and emotional unbalance, archetypes and inner movements, line of emotions and map of relations between characters.
\nIt investigates the flow state in the physical and emotional training of the actor, as well as the dramaturgy of movement and space.
\nEventually, it aspires to provide the participants with the necessary tools of physical, emotional and character training that lead from physical awareness to actor\u2019s presence.<\/p>\n

\nRESEARCH & CREATION & \u00a0THEATRE MONTAGE<\/p>\n

The workshop is addressed to participants who wish to develop their personal project using the\u00a0theatre language of physical poetry<\/strong> = creating with actions in space the way\u00a0a poet create with words in a paper, using a dynamic narration, that is neither linear, nor descriptive, but progresses with leaps of associations, offering the spectator\u00a0the space to create his own stories.\u00a0The art of SUGGESTION instead of the theatre of description.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The workshop\u00a0aspires to accompany the participants from an initial idea towards its translation into theatre material. It\u00a0includes physical & vocal training and character research, introduces basic acting tools and dramaturgy principles and provides the participants with the necessary theatre ground so that they may carry out their personal creation.<\/p>\n

The poetics of the absurd universe as a theatre tool,\u00a0<\/i>the unmasking of human relations through the grotesque language,\u00a0<\/i>t<\/i>he absurd as the magnification of reality.<\/i><\/p>\n

The workshop focuses on: physical & vocal training, character research, exploration of scenic relations, rhythm and body awareness, breathing of actor and character, interaction with space and partner, creation work.<\/p>\n
